Cel. Pedrinho do Engenho born in March, 25, 1908, in Silvestre Ferraz- Minas Gerais,
acctually Carmo de Minas - Minas Gerais. He died in São Lourenço - Minas Gerais.
He was trained as a pharmacist, but his love was the breeding of the Fila Brasileiro.
He was a great breeder and sent many dogs around the world.

"Joaquim José Junqueira de Souza" and grandfather "Joaquim José de Faria e
Souza", who had been breeding Filas since 1850. Their filas was utilizadet as working
animals and aided them in hearding catle and protectin their farm from Jaguars and
thiefs.
